(London, 12th August) Publishing industry heavyweight Eric Huang joins children’s digital agency and consultancy Made in Me in the newly created role of Development Director with immediate effect. Eric's new role will focus on leveraging his experience in digital publishing, licensing and broadcast to enhance the company's offering in these areas.
Huang commented, "I've been working closely with the amazing team at Made in Me for a few years now and have always found their approach to digital strategy and design refreshing. I'm really excited by the prospect of being able to marry up my knowledge of the children's licensing, publishing and broadcast industries with their incredible digital expertise."
Eric's appointment as Development Director marks the company's move to expand its range of digital consultancy services to include a broader spectrum of IP exploitation and brand development.

Eric's previous experience includes Disney, Penguin and Moshi Monsters creators Mind Candy.

Eric Huang is Development Director at Made in Me, an award winning Shoreditch digital agency specialising in children's entertainment and brand development. Starting out at Disney Publishing in LA, Eric moved to Melbourne, Australia, as Managing Editor at Penguin Australia. He then joined Aussie toy company Funtastic's new book division as Publisher, after which he re-located to the UK as Head of Licensing at Parragon. In 2007, Eric took up the role of Publishing Director at Penguin UK's Media and Entertainment division where he looked after Penguin's IP and co-production businesses. After six years at Penguin Eric moved on to become Development Director at Mind Candy before joining Made in Me. Eric lives in London and is always on the look-out for creative partnerships and ways to tell stories via new media platforms.
